Delete Your Vaidhya Account

We're sorry to see you go. This page explains exactly how to request account deletion, what happens to your data, and how the 30-day grace period works.

30-Day Grace Period

When you delete your account, it is not deleted immediately. Your account enters a 30-day deactivation window. During this time, your profile and data are hidden from other users. If you log back in within 30 days, your account will be fully restored as if nothing happened. After 30 days, deletion is permanent and irreversible.

How to Delete Your Account

Open Vaidhya & go to Settings
Launch the Vaidhya app on your device and tap the profile icon, then tap Settings.

Navigate to Account section
Scroll down to the Account section and tap “Delete Account”.

Confirm your identity
For security, you'll be asked to re-enter your password or verify via OTP to confirm you are the account owner.

Select a reason (optional) & confirm
Optionally tell us why you're leaving, then tap “Delete My Account”. Your account immediately enters the 30-day deactivation period.

What Happens to Your Data

Permanently Deleted
  • Profile information (name, bio, photo)
  • Portfolio content & media uploads
  • Direct messages & conversations
  • Saved preferences & interests
  • Connected social accounts & tokens
  • Notification history
  • Search history & activity logs
Retained for Legal / Business Reasons
  • Transaction & payment records — retained 7 years (tax & financial compliance)
  • Invoice & billing history — retained 7 years
  • Records of completed brand collaborations — anonymised, retained 3 years
  • Fraud prevention & security logs — retained 1 year
  • Consent & legal agreement records — retained as required by law

Changed your mind?

Simply log back in within 30 days and your account will be fully reactivated — all your data, content, and connections will be right where you left them.

Can't Access the App?

If you're unable to access the app, you can request account deletion by emailing our support team. Please include the email address or phone number associated with your Vaidhya account.

We will verify your identity and process the deletion within 3 business days. The same 30-day grace period applies.
